Mir gefällt das Stadtbild an sich sehr gut. Sehr elegantes Art-Deco, v.a. durch den Stillstand seit den siebziger Jahren auch überwiegend zusammenhängend und störungsfrei. Die vielen Baulücken sind zwar schade, werden aber in Zukunft perfekte Chancen bieten. Ich wünsche dieser Stadt eigentlich nur das beste. Tiefer sinken kann sie ja kaum mehr.

Very interesting images. I just realized that Detroit is probably a French name from d'étroit - the strait. Sounds so much more noble now!
You create so many photographs, you should consider to step up your game and get a semi-advanced camera/lens and some image post-processing.

That's correct. Most of what became Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana belonged to the French until they lost it all in the French and Indian War. That's the goal for next year once I get my tax return back!
